HUTCHINSERIF TYPE FACE

Inspired by the iconic wooden signage of my hometown, Jackson Hole, Wyoming, this typeface reimagines the charm of Western lettering through a modern lens. Drawing from the historic “Howdy Stranger” sign, I developed a display typeface that preserves its rugged, handcrafted feel while refining the letter forms for contemporary use.
The project features a laser-cut replica of the original sign designed in the style of vintage Western advertisements. This typeface celebrates regional identity, blending nostalgia with thoughtful typographic design.
